MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of the Cities of Deer Park and La Porte to host a regional "BACK THE BLUE FESTIVAL" to allow neighboring communities to come together and show their support and appreciation for all local law enforcement officers! As Alumni members, we work closely with our Police Departments to assist with community oriented projects and concerns; and are always committed to developing and maintaining a positive relationship between our Police Departments, our Officers AND OUR COMMUNITY!

"BACK THE BLUE BBQ FESTIVAL... IS HOSTED BY DEER PARK & LA PORTE CPA ASSOCIATIONS! All endowments, sponsorships, donations are held in a dedicated BTB-BBQ bank account. The funds are administered by treasurers from BOTH Deer Park & La Porte CPA Alumni Associations! The proceeds are used exclusively to fund this event; and any and all proceeds that remain after all event expenses have been paid will be divided between our Deer Park Police Department AND our La Porte Police Department!

The Deer Park Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association and La Porte Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association are 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit Organizations. All proceeds are used to support the Deer Park Police Department and the La Porte Police Department, AND ALL OUR AWESOME OFFICERS!
