CAR SHOW PARTICIPANT RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
6th Annual Back the Blue BBQ Festival Car Show

By registering for and participating in the Back the Blue BBQ Festival Car Show, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in a car show involves certain risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, vehicle damage, theft, fire, weather-related incidents, and other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event.
Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the La Porte Police Officers Association, the La Porte Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, venue owners, the City of Deer Park, the Jimmy Burke Activity Center, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of my participation in this event.
Vehicle Responsibility
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my vehicle, its contents, and any property brought onto the event grounds. I understand that event organizers are not responsible for theft, vandalism, damage, or loss of any vehicle or personal property.
Compliance with Event Rules
I agree to comply with all event rules, instructions from event staff, and applicable laws. I understand that unsafe, reckless, or disruptive behavior may result in my removal from the event without refund.
Photo and Media Release
I grant permission to the event organizers and sponsors to use photographs, video recordings, and other media containing my likeness and/or my vehicle for promotional, marketing, social media, and publicity purposes without compensation.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the La Porte Police Officers Association, the La Porte Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, event sponsors, volunteers, and all affiliated organizations from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from my participation in this event.
Certification
I certify that I am at least 18 years of age or am registering with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. I have read this waiver, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
By submitting payment for this car show registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all liability terms and conditions outlined in the waiver.
